Welcome to our herb directory! In the interest of being able to quickly identify the properties of different herbs, I’ve put together this page so that you can quickly look up information on individual herbs.
There are four main ways that herbs can be used. They are as follows:
Culinary- Culinary applications are probably one of the most common uses of herbs. This knowledge is a must know for foodies! Fresh herbs and even dried herbs can transform a meal from ordinary to extraordinary!
Cosmetic- Throughout history herbs have been used in cosmetic applications including washes and perfumes. If you are looking for a more natural approach to your beauty and hygiene regimen, herbs are great way to add that natural touch.
Domestic- Herbs have many applications throughout the home as well. Cleaning, freshening and even pest repelling can be accomplished through knowledgeable use of herbs.
Medicinal-*Before using herbs for medicinal purposes always consult your physician* Throughout history herbs have commonly been used for medicinal purposes. It is believed that many common ailments can be treated through the use of herbs.
The information in this directory will include information on each of these types of uses for each herb.
